I think at the end of this year we need to examine our options in locking Votto Bruce Volquez and/or Cueto (some combination of that 4 if not all of them) to some sort of long term deal. One that hopefully won’t hamper us financially but will give us something to build upon
Cost containment is the name of the game right now, even if you don’t intend on keeping a player. Manageable contracts increase their trade value. Given the economy, it makes sense for the players to get some security as well. Besides Pujols, maybe Berkman, can you name another 1B who will have a better year in the NL?

Now they need to lock him up long term so we don’t lose da man.
And get him to grow a real beard so he looks like a real man.
Votto should wear suspenders and swing logs instead of bats.
I’m developing a man crush.

Since Votto is such a manly man, does he use Aqua Velva or Old Spice?
Sultan,
Adrian Gonzalez, Prince Fielder and Ryan Howard come to mind.
