Chris Denove was 2 for 3 with a 2b and a BB. Todd Frazier went 2 for 5 with a 2B. Juan Francisco and Michael Griffin also doubled.

Travis Wood started and went 3.1 IP allowing no runs, a hit, and 5 BB with 3 K. Ruben Medina (1.2 IP), Federico Baez (1 IP), and Ramon Geronimo (1 IP) all threw scoreless relief. Baez got the win and Geronimo picked up the save.

High A

St. Lucie 6 – Sarasota 5

Jake Kahaulelio went 1 for 3 with a 2B and 2 BB. Jason Bour was 2 for 4. Yonder Alonso went 1 for 4 with a 2B and a BB.

Travis Webb started and went 3.1 IP allowing 3 R on 6 H and 2 BB with no K. Luis Montano gave up 2 R in 2.2 IP of relief. Jerry Gil surrendered a run in 2 IP of relief.

Low A

Dayton 6 – Great Lakes 1

Jose Gualdron was 2 for 3 with a 2B and a BB. Kyle Day was 2 for 4 with a 2B. Jordan Wideman went 2 for 4. David Sappelt went 2 for 5. Brandon Menchaca doubled.

Josh Ravin wins it, tossing 6 scoreless innings allowing 3 H and a BB with 3 K. Andrew Bowman gives up a run in 2 IP of relief. Aguido Gonzalez struck out the side in the 9th.

    Why did they limit Wood? I know he had a lot of BB, and I wonder what kind of pitch count are they on in Carolina? Glad to see Frazier ripping the ball as well as Alonso.
