Remembering the 1976 Reds

After watching this organization for the last decade, it’s always nice to remember the 1976 Reds.

I remember the 76 Reds. Probably the best all around team ever. That includes all o the decades of the 40’s, 50, and 60.
In the world Series,Bench batted seventh, behind Rose, Griffey, Morgan, Perez,Driessen, and Foster. Their pitching staff had seven capable starters, and a solid bullpen.
The reds will probably never come close to matching this team, or any other mlb team again.

  • I always wondered how much better the BRM could have been without injuries to Nolan, Maloney, and Bench’s invasive surgery early in career,
