I just don't see Chris Dickerson as an everyday major league recycler. He's never shown that he's any more than an average minor league recycler. Perhaps we could platoon his recycling with Norris Hopper's. Dickerson recycles quickly, but I don't want to put all of my bottles in one basket.

I saw this last year and remember thinking what are sigg water bottles and now I not only have one but I see them all over nyc all the time now.

If you don't have a sigg water bottle (even if you don't use plastic cups) you should get one. The water tastes really good and its not only better for the environment its actually better for you to drink out of.

But it is a good story and I hope that even if he doesn't play everyday that he gets significant playing time not really cause of this story but because I enjoyed watching him play at the end of last year.

awesome

now I just wish he was winning the CF job and Taverez wasn't on the team and we had a big bat in LF

then again, with the Reds we are more likely to fix the global warming and fix excess waste by most humans than we are to get a team built to win.

what's that phrase? something about hell freezing over and pigs flying

If nothing else, it's nice to read something positive about an athlete - especially an athlete from a Cincinnati team!

Chris Dickerson the person was already one of my favorite Reds (before I had read this). I've been watching Modern Marvels on the History Channel all week lol.

Last year Rob Neyer had linked to an article about Dickerson doing some good environmental stuff, glad to hear about what he's doing now.

I hope Chris Dickerson the player is as good as he was at the end of last year (though unfortunately, I have some doubts)
