Game Thread: Reds at Snakes

Okay, I didn’t watch the game live last night, but I did Tivo it, and watched a few innings. Really strange to see Adam Dunn hitting against Aaron Harang. I can say I did enjoy seeing my favorite Red, Edwin Encarnacion, and Jay Bruce and Joey Votto again. It’s been a while. I still have very little hope that the Reds will even be halfway decent in 2009, but it’s always fun to see Encarnacion, Bruce, and Votto.

The rest of the lineup was really terrible, though.

Tonight, Edinson Volquez goes for win number 17. Seems like he’s tried to get his seventeenth win about ten times. Hopefully, he will get it tonight.

I’ll have to flip back and forth between the UVa football game and the Reds baseball game. Good grief, I’m a glutton for punishment.
