But before we write off Dickerson I do want to mention that he has one trait that the Reds need DESPERATELY.

He might not be much more than a 4th (or even 5th) OF but…

He does know how to get on base.

Seems like Reds management, by getting rid of 3 of the top 5 OBP clearly have a vision.
I’d rather have Dickerson over Patterson, Sanders, Vanderwall, Bragg, McCracken, Ellison, Taylor, Romano, Mateo, Cruz, Rivera, Hollandworth, Clark, Jennings, Bichette, and Tucker

yeah and actually he’s not bad (compared to the rest, I know many better among the amateur ranks).
I DO ENJOY the Reds TV broadcasters MUCH, MUCH, MUCH more than radio. I stopped listening to the radio broadcasts sometime middle of last season. I tried this season and lasted 2 innings.

I’d take Grande over Grace.

ugh, this reminds me. I watched a couple innings of the LA/SD game today and was reminded for the millionth time how great of a broadcaster he is. I don’t even need to mention his name for you to know who I’m talking about.

I’ve finally heard a broadcaster I dislike more than the Reds broadcasters. Mark Grace, since I watch AZ games now that Dunn was traded. Grace is an idiot. The best part is that he’s so stupid he’s not as mean spirited as Reds announcers. The Reds announcers are just hateful old men. Grace just says fluff comment after fluff comment.

the team with good players, in the pennant race, had their best player and a better player than ANY Red hit a game winning hit.

I think it’s been 15-20 years since the Reds could say something like that

go on praising Brandon Phillips and Corey Patterson because they make a good defense play once every 20 games.
