Reds Trivia 8/17/08

September 29, 1968: Pete Rose wins the batting title with a 1-3 day in a 3-0 win over the Giants before 27,464 at Crosley Field. With Matty Alou going hitless in Chicago, Rose won by a .335 to .332 margin. Jim Maloney pitched a two-hitter. The only SF hits were singles by Bobby Bonds in the 6th and Dave Marshall in the 7th.
