Game Thread

I am using my BlackBerry to post this, and I’m in an area of very little coverage, so I’m not at all sure this is actually going to post. If it shows up, discuss the game here!

I must be the biggest sucker around but I’ll be watching tonight..

    Chris Dickerson, LF
    Jerry Hairston Jr. SS
    Jay Bruce RF
    Brandon Phillips 2B
    Javier Valentin 1B
    Jeff Keppinger 3B
    Corey Patterson CF
    Ryan Hanigan C
    Aaron Harrang P

Sort of surprised Rosales has yet to get a start. More aggravated than surprised but that’s how it goes.

I read that Rosales is on his way back to Louisville and Votto re-instated which begs the question, Why isn’t Votto playing?

And the Reds leave ‘em loaded…I’m guessing Albert will hit a bomb here…

  • Good for my fantasy team.

I’d rather the Reds be good, though.

Good night to be named Phillips. Too bad the Reds didn’t have a pitcher with that name.

How’s the energy level after a couple days of getting smacked around by the Cardinals?

I watched some of the little league baseball on ESPN.

Buddy, my guess is if Votto just showed up maybe let him take the night a little easy and have him start tomorrow. I hope my guess is correct at least.

    Reds pitchers – 153 pitches
    Cardinal pitchers – 119 pitches

    Different faces, same results.

Hmmmmmm! Where should management look next?

    Napoleon Dynamite is on.

Don: Hey, Napoleon. What did you do last summer again?
Napoleon Dynamite: I told you! I spent it with my uncle in Alaska hunting wolverines!
    Don: Did you shoot any?
Napoleon Dynamite: Yes, like 50 of ‘em! They kept trying to attack my cousins, what the heck would you do in a situation like that?
Don: What kind of gun did you use?
Napoleon Dynamite: A freakin’ 12-gauge, what do you think?

I went to the game tonight. They traded the Griffey banner for one that says” Abandon hope all Ye who enter here.” It was like the seventh level of Hell.

Shut Harang down. There’s simply no reason to keep running him out there so he can go 3-20 with a 6.00 ERA. We’re not dealing with Mike Maroth here.
