The Bats were off on Tuesday.

Tampa 5 – Sarasota 1

Justin Tordi went 3-4 and drove in the lone Reds run.  Todd Frazier had a double in 4 at-bats.

Rafael Gonzalez picked up the loss and fell to 5-9 on the season.  Gonzalez gave up 5 runs (only 2 earned) on 7 hits and 2 walks in 5 innings pitched.  He struck out 6.

Dayton 5 – Lansing 3

Devin Mesoraco went 1-4 but provided 2 rbis and scored a run.  Brandon Waring went 2-4 with a run scored and an rbi.

Daniel Guerrero picked up his first win in Dayton to improve to 1-4 on the season.  Guerrero gave up 1 unearned run in 5 innings of work.  He scattered 5 hits and walked 1 while striking out 3.

Billings 8 – Casper 3

Byron Wiley went 3-3 with a homerun, run scored, and 3 rbis.  The homerun was Wiley’s 5th of the season.  Tyler Stovall had 3 hits as well.  Stovall went 3-5 with an rbi and run scored.

Enrique Garcia improved to a perfect 3-0 on the season by giving up 3 runs on 6 hits and 2 walks in 5 innings pitched.

GCL Pirates 2 – GCL Reds 1

Sean Conner went 3-4 and had the lone Reds rbi in the game.  Samuel Vasquez went 2-4 with 2 singles.

Michael Henry gave up 2 runs on 4 hits and picked up the loss.  Henry only pitched 4.1 innings, walking 1 and striking out 1.
