Edinson Volquez returns to the mound tonight after a good outing in his last appearance. The last time Volquez faced Milwaukee, he struck out ten Brewers over seven innings, while giving up just one run.
I’ll take that tonight, thank you.
Dave Bush pitches for the Brew Crew, and his only 2008 start vs. the Redlegs was not good. In fact, over the last three years, in seven appearances against the Reds (all starts), Bush has an 8.64 ERA.
So you’re telling me there’s a chance?
Discuss it here.
Line-up for tonight:
REDS
Keppinger SS
Votto 1B
Bruce RF
Phillips 2B
Dunn LF
Encarnacion 3B
Patterson CF
Bako C
Volquez P
I don’t mind that top 6. The bottom three is pretty bad, huh?
I missed the top half of the first. How did they score?
I’m sick of the people who say Edwin doesn’t play the game hard or looks like he doesn’t care. What an alert slide into first.
And Patterson still sucks.
You are correct on all counts, Matt.
Patterson looked awful on two fly balls in CF. One in which the batter converted into a triple after Hairston faced planted once into the wall and then let it ricochet back towards the infield.
“If you dont keep him close Cameron WILL take third.” When was the last time anyone said that about a Red… any Red.
The FSN broadcast has turned into a reality show featuring this family from North Carolina. Gotta love post trade deadline baseball in Reds when you are out of the race.
Man, I don’t know if I can keep watching this for another 2 months.
Coors Light Freeze Cam: Pops with a face full of Skyline.
They just gave this dude Diamond Seats!
I think Richard from Indian Hills has to be livid!
I wish I had diamond seats…
Move to North Carolina and make the trip to Cincy. Try and meet Thom and say you want to meet Jim Day. BAM, Diamond Seats!
You would want to sit that close to this poor excuse of a major league baseball team?
Not really.
But FREE FOOD!
I would!
as long as they paid my gas
my food
my tickets and souveneirs.
Patterson is an average defender, at best.
