Meet your second-half Cincinnati Reds; same as the first-half Reds, unfortunately.

Bronson Arroyo vs. John Maine tonight. Discuss it here.

Apparently last night’s loss really was devastating.

2-1 Mets in the 4th. Jay Bruce looks like he might be recovering at the plate.

  • Wow. Everyone is demoralized.

  • Meanwhile, Junior walks to drive in the tying run. Then Phillips bloops one in to drive in two more. Classic Texas Leaguer makes it 4-2, good guys.

Sure hope we can hang on to the lead tonight!

  • If we just could’ve held on last night, we’d be feeling pretty good right now with a 5-2 lead.

I donno, Chad, it takes a lot for me to feel confident near the end of a game…

Also, looks like Arroyo´s lost it after 80 pitches. I wonder how hungover he is…

Good, I love it when I have to eat my words like that. Arroyo gets the DP and Beltran´s triple doesn´t produce a run!

  • Can’t complain about these seven innings Arroyo has provided tonight.

especially not after he made it 8! he´s making me waver a little on my previously firm desire to dump his salary. it´s still too much but he´s reminded me the past couple weeks of how he can be nice to have sometimes.

Nice work by Coco, REDS WIN !!!!
Too bad he blew it last nite. Arroyo has some big wins for us this year, if any of our wins can be called “big.”

Looks like I missed a good game by Bruce and Arroyo. I went to a high school all-star football game in smoldering 90+ degree heat. Amazingly no kids cramped up. Guess they ate their share of bananas.
