Redleg Nation Player of the Month — June 2008
Redleg Nation would like to congratulate our Player of the Month for June, Edwin Encarnacion.
Frankly, this was a very poor month’s worth of individual performances by the Reds. Encarnacion, however, stood higher than anyone else in June, posting a .294 batting average, with a .433 OBP and a .603 SLG. In 23 games, Encarnacion had 4 doubles, a triple and 5 homers.

Burton deserves it more than EE. If those three were the best for the month, it gives good reason why they are in the cellar.
