Edinson Volquez goes tonight, so there’s at least a decent chance the Reds will be celebrating before pulling up stakes and heading to Cleveland for the weekend series against the Indians.

McCoy’s blog article had a piece about some of the Reds players watching the Orioles blasting the Cubs today. I found Burton’s comments about scouting reports interesting. Might part of the Reds problems be advance scouting? Who are the Reds advance scouts? Who selects them? Dusty?
Does anyone else think it confuses batters if they are constantly moving up and down the line up?
I always thought if helps if players know what their roles are. Changing that role game after game has to be confusing.

I think the Gameday 3D should let us control the hitter to see if we can hit better than the actual batter. It would allow those frustrated with Dunn to swing at those balls he holds back on.
