Rochester 5 – Louisville 2

Norris Hopper and Jeff Keppinger had the best games for the Bats. Hopper went 3-4 with 2 runs scored and Keppinger went 2-4 with an rbi. Norris is now 6-15 in his track to get back to Cincinnati while Keppinger is batting .429.

Adam Pettyjohn fell to 7-2 with the loss. Adam gave up 5 runs on 8 hits in 7.1 innings pitched. He walked 2 and struck out 1.

Chattanooga 5 – West Tennessee 4

Michael DeJesus, Shaun Cumberland, and Eric Eymann each had 2 hits in the win for the Lookouts. DeJesus went 2-5 with 2 doubles, Cumberland went 2-4 witha double, run scored, and rbi, while Eymann went 2-4 with 2 runs scored. Thomas Collaro hit a 3 run homer in the game, his 3rd homerun of the season.

Ben Jukich improved to 7-2 on the year, allowing 4 runs in 6.2 innings pitched. Jukich gave up 8 hits and a walk while striking out 8.

Sarasota Reds

The Reds’ own Drew Stubbs captured FSL MVP honors in the league’s all-star game by going 1-4 with a homerun and 2 rbis.

Dayton 8 – South Bend 7; final 10

Logan Parker and Denis Phipps each had 2 hits in 5 at-bats and hit homeruns. It was Parker’s 7th homerun of the season and Phipps’ 6th. Parker also had 3 runs batted in.

Matt Klinker started and struggled. Matt gave up 6 runs on 9 hits and 4 walks in 3.1 innings pitched.
