Reds Trivia 5/25/08

July 28, 1965: Sammy Ellis strikes out 12 batters to beat Sandy Koufax and the Dodgers 4-1, in Los Angeles.

Comment: Reds did remarkably well against Koufax, posting a 19-18 record against him. His ERA vs the Reds was 3.86 (career ERA of 2.76). Pretty amazing.
