  • Enquirer reports that the Reds sold Justin Lehr to the Doosan Bears of the Korean League. (Boy, now that’s a commute from Louisville.)

John Fay believes it might be to make room on the AAA roster for Daryl Thompson.

It was because Lehr had a clause that called for his contract to be sold if a team inquired.

Let’s hope they fill the spot with Thompson.

  • Wow, there’s sold and then there’s SOLD.

  • Lehr had it in his contract that if a Korean team approached him the Reds had to let him do it. The Reds did have a chance to match the offer though, but chose not to.

Lots of moves though, not all directly as a result. Thompson is heading to AAA, Jordan Smith and Travis Wood are both heading to AA and I have heard rumors that Scott Carroll is heading to Sarasota.
