Well, that is all Jay Bruce is doing. I know, I know, we seem to say this 2-3 times per week. But Jay went 2-4 in yesterday’s game, driving in an rbi, his 37th of the season. Kevin Barker also went 2-4 in the game for the Bats.
Adam Pettyjohn lost his first game of the season, giving up 5 runs on 4 hits while walking 3. He struck out 4 in 6 innings of work. Adam’s record is better than his ERA would indicate. At 4-1, his ERA is now 5.01.

Brandon Waring had a double and Devin Mesoraco had a triple to account for 2 of the Dragons 4 hits in the extra innings loss. The double was Brandon’s 9th of the season and the triple was Mesoraco’s first.
Luis Montano pitched 6 innings, allowing 1 run on 4 hits and a walk while striking out 6. He now has a 3.00 ERA and 39 strikeouts in 48 innings pitched this season.
