Welcome to the big leagues, Paul Janish!
The newest Red Paul Janish enters the game as a defensive replacement late in a 6-0 game, then gets his first major league hit to win the game in extra innings. Great debut, and a good win to take the first three games of this series with the Marlins.

OKAY OFF TOPIC………..Look at Sunday’s current pitching match-up.
Cliff Lee vs. Edinson Volquez
It doesn’t get any better than that folks……OKAY it could get better if say that was for our 7th win in a row!!!

Was anyone else wondering why Coco threw Ross a fastball on the game tying homer? I was screaming changeup at my tv. He had a good one working, and it was the only pitch Ross hadn’t seen yet. A fastball is the ONLY pitch a weak hitter like that could hit out of the park, and Bako called for it. Dumbass.

It’s nice to see Janish didn’t pee down his leg given the circumstances. Excellent focus, kid.

No, I think that was blood running down his nose after the pile got finished with him. Man, they clobbered him! I’m sure he enjoyed every second of it, too.

To take the outside pitch the other way was just a nice piece of timely hitting. Hope he can put a nice little string together here.
