Louisville 4 – Toledo 3

Jay Bruce and Paul Janish went 2 for 4. Bruce and Chris Dickerson both had a 3B.

Homer Bailey put up another strong start and his ERA on the season stands at 2.29. He went 7 IP allowing 3 R, 5 H, 2 BB while recording 10 K. Danny Herrera, 1.1 IP, and Jon Adkins, .2 IP, tossed scoreless relief.

AA

Chattanooga 14 – Mississippi 7 (10 innings)

The Lookouts put this one away by putting up a seven spot in the top of the tenth. Tonys Gutierrez was 3 for 5 with a 2B. Sean Henry, B. J. Szymanski, and Jose Castro all had 2 H nights. Henry and Chris Denove both added a 2B.

Sam Lecure started and gave up all 7 R in just 4 IP giving up 6 H and 5 BB with only 1 K. Lee Tabor tossed 2 IP of scoreless relief. Michael Hrynio, Pedro Viola, Derrik Lutz, and Carlos Fisher were all unscored on in relief also.

High A

Sarasota 3 – Tampa 1

Chris Heisey was 4 for 4 with a 3B and 2 2B. Chris Valaika and Jason Louwsma each added a 2B.

Jordan Smith got the win and lowered his ERA to 1.60 by going 8 IP allowing 1 R, 6 H, 0 BB with 5 K. Sean Watston recorded his 6th save by tossing a scoreless 9th.

Low A

Peoria 5 – Dayton 0 (Game 1 – 7 Innings)

Denis Phipps had a 2B and Kevyn Feiner a single for the only two Dragaon hits on the night.

Curtis Partch took the loss going 5.1 IP giving up 4 R on 5 H, and 2 BB while not striking anyone out.

Dayton 5 – Peoria 4 (Game 2)

Todd Frazier was 3 for 5 with a HR and a 2B. Justin Reed went 3 for 3 with a 3B and a BB. Jason Bour was 2 for 3. Brandon Waring doubled.

Enerio Del Rosario started and went 3.2 IP giving up 4 R, 0 ER, 3 H, and 2 BB while not striking anyone out. Joeseph Krebs got the win going 3 IP of scoreless relief.
