The sky isn’t falling

Daedalus says that people need to start thinking positively, and I’m inclined to agree. There’s a lot of season left to play.

  • It’s disappointing not only that we’ve already dropped so many games, but to division opponents. But the baseball season is really long, and we know Dunn won’t be under .250 forever.

  • I tend to agree–it’s why I finally broke down and bought MLB extra innings, because this team will be worth watching come August/September. However, the current makeup of the roster doesn’t lend itself to winning baseball. It forces us into situations where Dusty’s choices are few and even those are meh. So yeah, we have to get the offense clicking so we don’t put ourselves in those bad spots late in the game.

well, Dunn very likely could be under .250 when the season ends. He has been under .250 in 4 of his first 7 seasons and his career average is under .250!

the good news is I don’t care about average. I’m waiting for his .500+ SLG to show up!!
