Loading ...Have you been wondering what former Reds manager Pete Mackanin has been up to? Sure, we all have! Well, CTR had a blurb about him in the Post, and I found it amusing:
Former Reds manager Pete Mackanin was working the Opryland Hotel lobby on Tuesday and has reportedly had interviews with more than one team. Mackanin declined comment on any specifics, but said he was looking for a job as a coach, although Krivsky has left the door open for him to return to the Reds as an advance scout.
Despite being unsure of his future, Mackanin said he and his wife enjoyed their trip to Europe after the baseball season was complete.
“It was the trip of a lifetime,” Mackanin said. “It was enlightening – don’t I look enlightened? I’ve got couth now.”
Heh.
As long as there’s a Bowden their will be a job for ex-Reds

I’m glad K still has a spot open for Mackanin in the Reds organization. Pete did a good job for the club and loyalty should run both ways.
