Player development spots filled

The Enquirer, in the transactions section, is reporting that the Reds have hired Butch Baccala and Jeff Taylor as major league scouts, Paul Pierson as assistant director for player development and scouting, Freddie Benavides as minor league field coordinator, and Joe Katuska as amateur scout.

The only name that is familiar to me is Benavides, who has been with the organization for years.
