I’m glad to see that Homer Bailey is getting another start. He’ll be on the mound Thursday in San Francisco against the Giants.
In other news about Reds pitchers, over the weekend I meant to link to Red Hot Mama’s interview with Tom Shearn. If nothing else, this guy has a good story, and you can’t help but be happy for the success he’s enjoying.
2 starts is better than nothing I guess…..and definitely better than Saarloos and Dumatrait. Man, those guys suck. The roster is littered with pitchers who have no business being on a ML roster at this time: the aforementioned two, Gosling, Salmon, Guardado, Coffey, Stanton.
He isnt pitching in winter ball as far as I know, so a couple of late season starts isnt going to hurt him any … let the kid pitch and work on his stuff.
Only a hundred innings pitched this year. Long term, maybe the best thing for the kid.
really happy to see homer back
