    even if he played well.
we should trade him this offseason.
    and get something better.
    like a bullpen.
    I KNOW!
since krivsky loves 37 year old middle relievers.
    we could trade for one.
    and pay him 20 million.
(didja know eric milton is a wasted contract 8 million)

I would hate to trade a guy that gives us so many quality starts. When you look at the money that went out to pitchers, do you really want to give up a guy like Bronson? I know I don’t.

  • I think we’d be best off keeping Bronson, too. I don’t care what prospects a team has, everyone always wants starting pitchers. I don’t see how you can look at the Yankees and Red Sox always picking up new starters, then look at the Reds and think they’re good enough at the position that it would be ok to trade one away.

Plus, he’s a really popular guy. People want to see him pitch.

  • I was in favor of trading Arroyo to get Saltalamacchia, but I don’t know of any other prospect that would get me interested in a deal.

Our Starting Rotation is starting to gel together nicely this late in the season. Only if we can get the bullpen in shape.
