(.307/.404/.470) 20 year old CF Jay Bruce was 2-5 with a run scored and 3 RBIs. (.257/.333/571) 29 year old DH Jesse Gutierrez (.241/294/.376) was 2-5 with a double, run scored and RBI.

Elizardo Ramirez threw 6 2/3 innings allowing 1 run, earned on 5 hits, one walk, and three strikeouts, lowering his ERA to 3.32. Calvin Medlock threw 2 1/3 scoreless innings, allowing one hit, 3 walks, and struck out 5.

21 year old RHP Jamie Arneson threw 5 innings, allowing 1 run on 3 hits, 4 walks and 5 strikeouts. Marcos Mateo threw 2 scoreless innings, allowing 2 hits, one one walk and 2 strikeouts. Terrell Young threw a perfect 8th, striking out 1 for the win. Ramon Geronimo picked up his 10th save with a scoreless 9th, allowing 2 hits, with one strikeout.
