  • West Michigan also beat Dayton 4-2 in an earlier game yesterday. Chris Valaika and Tony Esquir (coming off the DL) bot hhad 2 hits. Daniel Guerrero made a nice 5 inning start (2 runs, 5 hits, 1 walk, 6 k’s).

I was at the day/night DH. The Dragons aren’t getting any breaks, but they also aren’t playing as well as they were earlier, base running mistakes, way too many walks, etc.

I heard a rumor at the ball park that there will be a major shift of players from Sarasota to Chattanooga and a corresponding move from Dayton to Sarasota after the All Star break. Don’t know if that’s the FSL or Midwest League AS game. The FSL game is next week, the MWL game is in a few weeks.
