2007 Draft Tracker

We’ve got the 2007 Draft Tracker up…

We’ll do our best to keep it up to date as the players begin to sign and be assigned to their respective rookie league teams…

Interesting to see how many high school players the Reds selected this year, as opposed to last year’s college senior laden draft…

Am I correct in thinking that the team with the worst record in the NL gets the first choice next year?

The team with the worst record in either league, but, either way, i think that’s still the Reds.

Did they used to alternate leagues? Or am I “misremembering”?

Thanks for the updates. Is it just me or does it seem a bit odd that since the 2003 draft only 1 draftee is at AAA level and only 1 draftee is with the big club. Granted Wagner I believe is up with Washington but nobody else. Maybe that’s why we struggle year after year.

  • Wagner’s done for the year, surgery.

Reds drafts pre-’05 are pretty bad. Guys either haven’t matured or got hurt which set back their progress.
