24 year old RHP Bobby Livingston threw 6 1/3 allowing 5 runs, 4 earned on 7 hits, walking 1 and striking out 8. His ERA is now 3.22.

AA

Chattanooga 6 – Carolina 5

24 year old RH OF Drew Anderson (2004-13) was 2-5 with a double and run scored. He’s hitting .270/.320/.468 on the season.

26 year old RH C Ryan Hanigan went 2-4 with an RBI and BB. He’s hitting .256/.360/.395.

25 year old RH OF Marland Williams went 2-4 with an RBI and BB. He’s hitting .306/.348/.532.

22 year old RHP James Avery (2005-5) ran his record to 4-2 and lowered his ERA to 2.97. He threw 6 innings, giving up 5 hits and 1 run, walking 2 and striking out 5.

DOTF fav 25 year old RHP Carlos Guevara (2003-7) was racked up, giving up 2 earned runs on 2 hits in 2 1/3 innings. He did strike out 3 batters. It raised his ERA to 2.41.

High A

Palm Beach 3 – Sarasota 1

25 year old RH C/DH Chris Kroski continued his hot hitting at Sarasota (he’s repeating High A). He was 2-3, raising his season numbers to .366/.480/.610.

20 year old LH OF Jay Bruce (2005-1) went 1-4, scoring the lone Reds run. He’s hitting .323/.369/592. I assume he’ll be promoted to Chattanooga about June 15th…as I’ll be seeing the Sarasota club the following week.

21 year old RH P Johnny Cueto gave the Reds a “quality start” going 6 innings, allowing 3 runs (all earned) on 3 hits. He didn’t walk any and struck out 8. His ERA is 3.55.

Low A

Peoria 5 – Dayton 1

Dragons had their 10 game winning streak broken. 23 year old RH OF Gerardo Cabrera had his second good game in as many days, going 3-4 and scoring the lone Dragons run.

21 year old LHP Jamie Arneson (2006-16), making his return to the Dragons rotation after being on the DL since early April, gave up 3 runs on 4 hits and 2 walks in 3 innings. He did strike out 2. He was activated to the Dragons roster when Daryl Thompson was promoted to Sarasota.

Note: I also heard that Carlos Fisher is being promoted from Sarasota to Chattanooga.
