Griffey in the lineup

Today vs the Phils, according to Trent Rosecrans.

UPDATE (by Chad): Meanwhile, both Hal McCoy and John Fay are speculating this morning about the possibility that Josh Hamilton will start in RF for Griffey on Opening Day, if Junior isn’t ready.

I like Hamilton as much as the next guy, and I’m probably rooting for him more than the next guy, but since I have Opening Day tickets, I’d prefer to see Junior.

    Griffey is starting today, so hopefully he is ready to go.

    He went 2 for 4, a single and double.
    Griffey also flied out to the edge of the warning track and grounded into a double play. He left for a pinch-runner after he pulled a double down the line in the seventh, running hard all the way. I think he’ll be on the field opening day.
