Not to go too far off-topic, but my law school alma mater just won a huge game in the Big East. Georgetown is now in first place, and in line for a great seed in the NCAA Tournament.
It’s been a while since I’ve been able to enjoy such success, so please forgive the intrusion.
Now, my undergraduate school — Virginia — can remain a half-game out of first place in the Atlantic Coast Conference with a win today, but they are down one in the second half. Hey, I need something to occupy my interest until those spring training split-squad games begin!
UPDATE: I know no one is interested, but UVa pulled out the victory against Georgia Tech. Wahoowah.

The Buckeyes are looking pretty good this season as well!
I can’t really get into college hoops anymore. The best players only stay a year or two and my alma mater (Miami U) is only good every few years…
Without Huggs at U.C. and Bobbie K. at I.U., I’ve lost my interest in college hoops.
Buckeyes, Big Ten Champs
only college team I’ll watch, football or basketball.
I agree with Michael, it does hurt that all the big names in college ball leave after one or two seasons. It’s all about the money these days. No team spirit left in these youngsters.
Go Shroomzaga, er Gonzaga!
Sorry, current student here.
GO ZAGS!!
Tonight, however, I’ll be skipping my annual “in person” Zag game (at USD). USD insisted that you buy tickets to 4 home games to get tix to the Zags game, and I do not enjoy WCC basketball that much.
