Why I need to quit listening to Sportstalk radio….

While going to lunch today, I heard a caller ask, “Do you think we could get Boston to take Adam Dunn for Tim Wakefield?”

I never heard the host’s answer, I was too busy banging my head off the dashboard of the car….

  • Heh. Yeah, I think we could twist their arms on that one.

But with Mr. PassedBall traded, we can handle a knuckleballer now, right? ;-) And we can always use another 40+ year-old on our pitching staff anyway – three birds with one stone.

  • Wakefield and Stanton could play dominoes and talk about the “good ole days.” Hey, has anybody heard anything about Aaron Harang’s contract negotiations? I guess they have a little while before arbitration.

Wakefield would fit the Reds pitching mold in only one respect. He’s 40. If he could somehow become left handed the Reds would jump on him in a skinny minute.
Agents for old, left handed pitchers must have the Reds on speed dial.
