DOTF – Fall/Winter Edition – 10-25-06

AFL

Grand Canyon tops Phoenix 9-7 in 10 innings. Cody Strait was 1 for 6 with a double, run scored, and struck out once. Javon Moran was 1 for 2 with an RBI. Drew Anderson entered the game as a PR, but did not have a PA.

Phil Dumatrait got the start and allowed two runs in three innings pitched. It took him 52 pitches to get through those three innings, both runs allowed coming on a HR. He gave up 4 H, 2 BB, and struck out two.

They have pitchcounts available for the AFL? That’s fantastic. I was frustrated this past season that milb.com didn’t track pitchcounts in their boxscores for the AA Southern League.
