Phoenix beat Grand Canyon 9-4. Cody Strait was the only Reds prospect to see action and he remains hot. He was 2 for 3 with two singles. He also scored twice, knocked in two runs, walked twice, and stole a base. After putting up a .258 BA/.325 OBP/.452 SLG/.777 OPS in 489 ABs at A+ Sarasota, he is now putting up a .400 BA/ .514 OBP/.467 SLG/.980 OPS in 30 ABs in the AFL.
