Phoenix topped Peo Javelinas 9-6. Cody Strait was 1 for 3 with 2 BBs, he swiped two bases, and scored twice. Strait also had an error charged to him in the field. Drew Anderson singled twice in five ABs, scored a run, and struck out once.

Phil Dumatrait picked up the win but pitched poorly. He gave up 3 runs in 3 IPs. He allowed four hits and two walks while striking out two. Jon Coutlangus pitched another scoreless inning while surrendering a hit and a walk.
