I’m driving home today. My kids couldn’t take the heat at today’s game, but I must admit that I didn’t object too strenuously to the decision not to attend today’s contest. I’m tired.
As you already know, the Reds have reached the breaking point in this collapse; Cincy is now in third place in the NL Central. It has been a rough coupla weeks, hasn’t it?
Discuss the game here. I will be listening to Marty and Steve, on the road again.

Looks like the Pirates called up Cy Young.
Scoreless after 5. The Reds continue to act functionally helpless against young pitchers without much major-league experience.
However, Bronson’s doing great, much better than he did last time vs. the Pirates.
Whew – Arroyo gives up a couple runs, but Reds answer with three of their own to gain a lead. 3-2 in the 6th. And some very heads-up baserunning from Dunn is partly the reason. Now Phillips is trying to steal his way around the bases.
Got the job done today… do you think there was a BENGALS game on today??? A whole 3 comments… wow. 20,000 in attendance though, which was pretty damn surprising. Here is to the Reds bringing it to San Diego on tuesday!!!
whodeys and redlegs both victorious
Lets hope the reds get another series win vs. the padres.
And with Cards and ‘Stros losses, and them going at each other’s necks the next few days, the division is still within sight…..
