I guess it’s nice to see that Krivsky is trying to keep the whole situation from getting any uglier, but what are the chances that old leatherpants actually complies?
Michalak Man may be somewhat of a re-tread, but right now he looks like a #5 starter to me. I would rather give the Michalak Man another start than try Ryan Franklin there, and give El Lizardo some time to find himself. Heck, I’d even prefer Michalak Man to Arroyo right now.
i think kriv is doing the right thing. everything i’ve read says that mlb encourages clubs to work out disputes between themselves before filing a grievance. so this is the first step in the process. if he doesn’t get someone, then he’ll move on to the grievance phase.
I have to wonder if Bowden would be handling this situation as well as Krivsky is, if the shoe were on the other foot. I can’t help but believe Bowden would be screaming bloody murder.
