25 year old SS Rey Olmedo (.303/.352/.407) was 2-5 with a triple and a stolen base, 23 year old 2B William Bergolla (.275/.307/.361) went 3-4 with 2 doubles, and 28 year old Matt Kata (.284/.329/.483) was 3-5 with double and drove in 2 runs.

26 year old Brad Salmon threw a scoreless 1 2/3 lowering his ERA to 2.50 and 29 year old Scott Chiasson threw a scoreless 9th, picking up his 19th save, lowering his ERA to 2.40.

AA

Chattanooga 8 – Jacksonville 5

27 year old Javier Colina (.222/.2882/.376) went 3-4 with a HR and 3 RBI’s and 24 year old David Shafer had a scoreless 9th, picking up his 24th save and lowering his ERA to 1.85.

Nothing positive in the game for the Dragons. Daniel Guerrero was roughed up again, giving up 11 hits and 5 runs (all earned) in 5 1/3 innings.

  • Okay, had it not been for the incredible game on the 22nd, I could honestly say I was just teetering between Reds and White Sox, (my site explains my dilemma), but Freel rocked my sox…a man with that much heart deserves our support!
