    I concur … it’s all about the ca$h … but just wait, I foresee the postseason going to pay-per-view followed by the regular-season doing so

    I also recently read that MLB is entering the satellite radio craze. Sure, XM broadcasts all the games, but on the horizon is MLB AM. And not only does MLB AM already own the rights to all MLB games, but all minor league games as well. Here’s the story on that.

  • Did you see where Selig came out and said MLB has to do something about blackouts? Knowing him, though, his solution will make the problem worse.

    The Selig quote was “I don’t understand (blackouts) myself,” Selig said at a luncheon with the Baseball Writers Association of America. “I get blacked out from some games.”
    While he did not outline a plan, Selig said he had spoken with Major League Baseball about addressing the blackout issue.
