I noticed that Jay Bruce has been hitting DH for awhile now in Dayton. Whats the deal there?

  • He’s had a “tight shoulder”. He went back to the OF for a couple of days, but then back to DHing. Sounds like it’s precautionary to me.

Bill is correct, I have heard that all it is is being precautionary — there’s nothing more to it.

What good is it doing for Chris Denorfia to still be at AAA? The Reds have got to do something to enable him to come up and play everyday. Move Dunn to 1B or whatever.

Hall of Fame game rained out in the 4th inning with the Reds leading 3-0. No details at this time.

Denorfia is a favorite of Krivsky and Narron. I just can’t forget how Narron told him went he was shipped out at the end of spring how this situation could be like a Jeff Francour type of thing.

I guess you could read any number of things into that.
