Perhaps the best name in the Reds farm system, Noochie Varner went 3 for 5 with a HR and 5 RBI. The 25 year-old Varner is now hitting .267/.356/.293. 24 year-old Carlos Guevara pitched a scoreless inning giving up a walk and a hit. For the year Guevara has pitched 17 innings with a 1.47 ERA. He has recorded 25 strikeouts and just 4 walks.

HIGH A

Jupiter 4, Sarasota 3

24 year-old Hector Tiburcio went 2 for 3 with a HR and 3 RBI. For the season he is hitting .250/.263/.361.

LOW A

Clinton 9, Dayton 1

23 year-old Paul Janish went 2 for 4, and is now hitting .385/.412/.590 in 82 plate appearances.
