Today’s game vs. San Francisco

Here’s a game thread to discuss today’s business man’s special. I’ll be at the old ball yard, taking in the action. If you are at work, I hope you aren’t too jealous.

Feilipe is certainly out of that slump. Today was his first HR since July 22. He’s gone 7 of 11 so far this series.

Felipe played way, way too long without a break. I think you could blame some of that slump on Miley and Narron who never gave the kid a day off.

Lopez seems to have his second win.

Man! Griffey is in a groove!

Griffey has 12 homeruns since the All-Star break. I believe it is safe to say that we’re finally getting the real Ken Griffey Jr. At this pace, he’ll end up in the top 10 in the NL in HRs and RBIs. He could end up in the top 5

If Griffey doesn’t get the comeback player of the year award, there ought to be an investigation. The guy has worked hard to comeback and has been a class act while doing it.
