West Tennessee 5, Chattanooga 3

D’Angelo Jimenez drew some respect from the Diamond Jaxx by going 1-2 with 3 BBs and a 2 run homer in the Lookouts 5-3 loss. In 63 games at AA, Jiminez has 5 homeruns, 30 rbis, and 12 stolen bases. And
here’s an interesting stat, he has drawn 48 walks and struckout only 23 times.

High A

Brevard County 2, Sarasota 1

22 year old Tyler Pelland saw his record drop to 4-6 on the year with the loss to Brevard Co. The former 9th round pick of the Red Sox pitched 5 innings, allowing 5 hits and 2 earned runs. He now has a 4.29 era but has 89Ks in 79.2IP.

2002’s 3rd round pick Kyle Edens pitched 2 1/3 scoreless innings but got the blown save as he inherited the 2 baserunners in the 6th that scored who were charged to Pelland.

A

Fort Wayne 7, Dayton 1

Ramirez was knocked around in only 4 innings pitched allowing 8 hits and 5 runs to raise his era to 4.35.

4 different Helena pitchers combined to throw a no hitter against Billings yesterday.
