24-year old OF Alex Fernandez went 3 for 4 with a double, a homer and 3 RBI. He is now hitting .294/.431.

Elizardo Ramirez was beaten like a rented mule. He gave up 13 hits, and 9 ER in 5 2/3 he is now 5-3 with a 3.57 ERA

Chattanooga lost 5-3 to Carolina

23 year-old Richie Gardner gave up only 3 hits, but 3 earned runs and 4 walks in 5 1/3 innings. Guess he hasn’t learned to pitch to contact yet.

Richie, who used to be a bright spot, is scuffling this year, he now has a 5.73 ERA giving up 80 hits and 24 walks in 66 innings, while only striking out 47.

High A

Sarasota lost both games of a doubleheader to Palm Beach 3-2 and 4-2. No boxscores were given.

Low A

Dayton lost to Peoria 4-1, again I couldn’t find the boxscore.
