David Weathers

I’ve been very, very hard on David Weathers, but it’s time to be contrite. He’s pitched very, very well lately, and he had a big part in tonight’s victory, stopping the bleeding at a time when the Reds very well could have lost the game.

His ERA is now 3.74. Not too bad, considering his start. I’m going to lay off him for a while.

I have to admit, I’ve never been a big David Weathers fan. When he faltered earlier in the year, I harkened back to his first stay in Cincy. But let’s give him credit. He’s turned his season around. Lets hope the rest of the staff gets its act together as well as he has.
